Lesser Slave Watershed Council's 8th Annual Ice Fishing Family Day Event

The Lesser Slave Watershed Council (LSWC) is hosting our 8th annual Kids Can Catch event in Joussard, AB Family Day weekend! Join us on Saturday, Feb. 17 for a day of education, fishing and fun! Attendees can expect brunch at the Joussard Community Hall, followed by an Ice Fishing and Fish Handling talk from a local expert! The LSWC will be lending out ice fishing equipment, or you can bring your own! We'll have ice fishing set up on the ice, so be prepared to drive out on the ice to catch some amazing fish! Then, come back to the hall to warm up, or stick around for a crib tournament or tobogganing, hosted by the JCA! As the day winds down, we will have a chili supper in the hall, as well as activities in the hall throughout the day. Stop by for a little or the whole day! In the evening, the JCA is sponsoring a fireworks show too! You can't miss this event! For more details, please stay tuned to www.lswc.ca or follow us on social media!
