Don Pike

Don is a native Albertan with more than forty years of experience in fishing and hunting throughout Alberta and portions of British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Montana. He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in geography, followed by graduate studies at the University of Guelph in natural resource management and planning. Don has called Calgary his home since 1979, when he began fishing and guiding on the Bow River and many other central and southern Alberta streams. Throughout his working and personal life, Don has been committed to fish, wildlife, and wilderness conservation in Alberta and across Canada as reflected in his twelve years with Canada’s National Park Service, two years with Ducks Unlimited Canada, twelve plus years with Trout Unlimited Canada and, most recently, as a board member with the Alberta Conservation Association.
