I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors in general. I am also interested in non-game animals and the preservation of critical habitat in Alberta so all wildlife will have a place to call “home”, and all Albertans and visitors to our province have an opportunity to experience the outdoors.

The “South Country” is a vast area with several ecosystems represented. It covers the prairie grasslands, the foothills and mountains, the edge of the Parklands. Included here also are the Badlands. Three major watersheds are represented as well, including one which originates within the region. A wide variety of wildlife lives and thrives here.
