Planned Giving

Bequests or charitable remainder trusts are two ways to help conserve Alberta.

The gift of forever
Maybe you’ve been a lover of the outdoors as long as you can remember, and hope others enjoy it as much as you have. Maybe over the years you’ve explored many of Alberta’s wild spaces, hunting, fishing or hiking, and want to ensure those opportunities are always available for others to enjoy. Or maybe, you simply want to leave this world a better place for having been here.

More than one benefit
Planned giving and estate gifts can reduce income taxes, reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes, reduce your gift or estate tax, provide income for you and your loved ones, and of course, support our efforts to conserve our treasured fish, wildlife and habitat.

Creating a Legacy
By giving a gift to Alberta Conservation Association, you leave behind a legacy. Your gift—whether it’s a donation through your will or even a treasured piece of land—ensures that Alberta’s fish, wildlife and habitat remain for future generations to enjoy, value and use.
