The Wolverine Project
Giving to ACA can be as easy as voting for us. With enough votes, we'll get $100,000!
Fierce, fearless and wild, the wolverine is an elusive creature that we know little about. This winter, with the help of volunteers, we hope to discover more about their distribution, habitat, behaviour and the factors that might impact their future.
We hope that part of the funding for this project will come from a Shell FuellingChange grant, but we need your help to make that happen. Visit Shell FuellingChange for more information and regular updates about the project. See fascinating photos and video about this Canadian wilderness icon.
Ways to help:
- Sign up and vote for us.
- Tell your friends and family about the project.
- Connect to FuellingChange with your Facebook and/or Twitter account for more votes.
- Find the code on your Shell receipts and enter it on the FuellingChange website for even more votes.
Voting started on Nov. 4, 2011 and will close on April 30, 2012.
The Wolverine Project is part of a larger project known as WHILDZ (Wildlife Habitat Initiative in Low Disturbance Zones). It aims to identify areas of important wildlife habitat with currently low levels of human disturbance in southwestern Alberta.
