Application Forms and Guidelines

The GECF has two parts:

Part A: Conservation Support and Enhancement funds conservation activities by individuals, organizations, and communities that contribute to conservation, protection or enhancement of fish, wildlife or habitat in Alberta. These projects are anticipated to be more of the “on the ground” and/or “grassroots” projects. Applications accepted from January 1 to 31, 2012.

Part B: Research funds high quality “research” projects on wildlife, fish and habitat which inform the effective management of wildlife and fish populations, and/or habitat in Alberta. These projects are anticipated to more related to university or other similar research institutions (but is not limited to such institutions). Applications accepted from November 1 to December 1, 2011.
