Are you into wild places and new adventures? If you’re passionate about upland game birds, you might be the person to complete our team. ACA (in partnership with MacFarlane Pheasants), is looking for someone to distribute birds across release sites in Alberta.  

MacFarlane Pheasants, located in Wisconsin, USA, delivers semi-trailer truck loads of mature pheasants to a holding facility in Strathmore, Alberta. From there, the birds are delivered to specific locations in the province to enhance habitat awareness and hunting opportunity.  

We are looking for a driver to distribute/release these birds.  A great opportunity for someone to get valuable experience with the Alberta Conservation Association. Offers a flexible schedule. Pay rate of $22.00 per hour with sign on and season completion bonus’ available. 

Duties include:

• Strapping down crates
• Releasing pheasants at designated sites at designated times
• Re-stacking empty crates on the truck

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.
• Be able to lift 20 kg or more
• Be able to work evenings
