The symposium includes 2 days of technical presentations, panel discussions, poster sessions, and field trips related to the research and management of wild sheep, mountain goats, and related species.

The nearest international airport is Calgary International Airport (YYC), which is 120km (approximately 1 h 10 min. driving time) from Canmore.
