Land Donations

Perhaps you and your family have kept your land in its natural state for years. Whether an operating farm, forest, shoreline, wetland, natural prairie, or other open space, your land will be conserved and enhanced—nurturing wildlife and bringing us enjoyment as an irreplaceable part of Alberta’s wild side.

Alberta Conservation Association offers flexibility in designing the right strategy to fit your needs. We employ a number of techniques including purchasing land, accepting land donations, joint purchases with other conservation groups, and negotiating conservation agreements. Additionally, significant tax benefits are available for qualifying land donations under Revenue Canada’s ECOGIFT program.

For more information on donating land, please contact Darren Dorge at 403-562-3292 or email at darren.dorge@ab-conservation.com.
