In this friendly sporting clays event, you are competing on a four-person team to shoot the most clay targets to accumulate points. The team with the most points wins! Simple and incredibly fun.

What’s more, you can try premium shotguns, learn about hunting ducks and geese, and sample wild game appetizers!

Are you new to shooting sports? Let us know, and we can set you up with instructions and a shotgun for the course shoot.


Shotgun Demo Stations

Shoot various brands and models of premium shotguns at demo stations by:

  • Beretta, Benelli, and Franchi
  • Fabarm and Retay
  • Winchester® and Browning®

Wild Game Cooking 101

Sample wild game appetizers, and pick up game processing, cooking, and recipe ideas from Brad Fenson, Alberta-based outdoor writer and outdoorsman.

Bear Scare

Bear Scare specializes in training in non-lethal methods of resolving human/wildlife conflicts. They have an experienced team of knowledgeable staff that are annually recertified in the current non-lethal methods and tools in dealing with wildlife incidents. We are excited to have them at the event with their bear spray demonstration trailer.

Safe and Sound Hearing Solutions

Claude Boiteau will once again be joining this event with Safe and Sound Hearing Solutions. He creates custom-molded earplugs on the spot made specifically for you! Check out his website for more information.

Canis Outdoors

Emily Lamb from Canis Outdoors will be in attendance with some great waterfowl calling techniques, tips, and tricks! 

Alberta Hunter Education Instructors' Association (AHEIA)

Sarah Marthaller from AHEIA will be in attendance with the Report A Poacher (RAP) trailer. She will be providing information on the RAP Program, and how the public's reporting can impact investigations of illegal activities in the province.

Black Rifle Coffee Co.

Black Rifle Coffee will be brewing when you arrive. Make a stop at their booth to win some great door prizes and talk all things coffee.

Schedule

  • 10:00 a.m. – Team check-in; coffee and muffins
  • 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. – Demo stations
  • 11:30 a.m. – lunch
  • 12:15 p.m. – Welcome and safety briefing
  • 12:30 p.m. – Course shoot begins (shotgun start)
  • 4:00 p.m. – Trophies and event wrap up
