The Taber Pheasant Festival is truly one-of-a-kind. Since its start in 2010, it has grown into Canada's largest hunting festival—drawing participants from across the province and beyond.
Throughout the eight days in Taber, Alberta, the festival showcases the power of habitat conservation and partnerships in action. Participants enjoy world-class pheasant hunting opportunities, along with culinary experiences that celebrate the harvest and connect people to the land.
Since 2012, Kids Can Catch has introduced over 28,000 new anglers to the joy of fishing—both on the ice and open water. Each event sparks lifelong interest by teaching participants about responsible angling, fish care, and conservation, all in a safe and family-friendly environment.
Thanks to over 100 generous sponsors every year, ACA has been able to expand Kids Can Catch to more than 30 communities across Alberta, helping thousands of families experience fishing for the first time.
Since 2014, this event has brought together both novice and experienced waterfowl hunters and sporting clays enthusiasts for a unique corporate team challenge. Participants test their shooting skills, connect with others, and enjoy a day of friendly competition.
Best of all, every shot fired supports conservation—all proceeds go to Report A Poacher, a program dedicated to educating the public about responsible hunting and angling while raising awareness of the serious impacts of poaching.
