Parkland County is proud to partner in Alberta Conservation Association's Landowner Habitat Program and Lake Aeration Program on Hasse Lake. As participants in ACA's Landowner Habitat Program, we have dedicated over 1,140 acres of County land for conservation efforts. This partnership with ACA ensures long-term protection of this habitat and provides foot-access recreational activities like hunting and fishing. ACA’s Aeration Program enhances fish habitat to increase the survivability of fish populations over winter. The County’s assistance on Hasse Lake will help increase anglers’ fishing opportunities in the Parkland community.
