Impacted Sites
The following pheasant release sites were recently affected by farming activities: Bigelow Reservoir (unauthorized) and Buffalo Lake.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue working with the government to maintain quality release sites on Crown lands.
We want your input!
Don't forget to fill out our Pheasant Release Survey. We read every single one so we can learn from hunters and continue to improve the project.

Description
This 640-acre site is located approximately 3km south of Langdon and consists of wetland and upland habitat. No open fires. Day use only. NOTE: This site has increased levels of foxtail barley this year. Please be aware when running your dogs as this plant can seriously harm them.
Hunters are reminded to use respect at all times, remembering to adhere to all landowner requests. Close gates, hunt on foot, keep vehicles in designated parking lots and trails, pick up all garbage and spent shells, and advise landowners of any livestock or fencing issues you may encounter. Refrain from cleaning birds at release properties, and remember that fires are not allowed on release properties.
